Q:  What options are available for me to join Bremerton Work Space? 

A:  Bremerton Work Space (BWS) has both Full-Time and Part-Time membership options for your consideration:

Day Pass, Part-Time Membership – This is a day-to-day membership for those individuals who only need to use the work space sporadically, periodically or for special occasions.  Day Pass membership is dependent upon space availability based upon a first come, first served basis.  You may make a reservation up to 30 days in advance through our self-portal system (members.bremertonworkspace.com).  There is typically only 1-2 Office Suites that are dedicated to part-time use at any given time so please make your reservation in advance to insure that you are able to get the time(s) you need.

Full-time Membership – This option is for individuals looking for long-term office space of at least one month or more in duration.  Individuals interested in this option must change their membership type from “community member” to “Full-time Deluxe Private Office”

 Q:  When is the business open and when does it close?

A:  Bremerton Work Space business hours are dependent upon your membership level:

Part-time Members – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Full-time Members – 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Q:  Can I change my memberships at any time?

A:  Members can change their memberships one time per calendar quarter based upon availability.

Q:  Can I have a guest at Bremerton Work Space?

A:  Each member may have up to two guests for up to two hours per day.  Guests staying longer than 2 hours will be charged as a Day Pass member.  If we don’t receive payment from your guest(s), then your account will be automatically charged.


Q:  When are payments due? 

A:  All memberships require payment in advance.

Part-time members – For part-time members, payment is typically invoiced in advanced on the day your make your reservation if the reservation is less than 30 days away.

Full-time members – For full time members, payment is typically invoiced on the day you start your membership.  Thereafter, monthly renewals are invoiced on the same day of the month you start.

Q:  What forms of payment do you accept? 

A:  Bremerton Work Space accepts all major credit cards and we accept ACH bank drafts for full time members.  Sorry – no personal checks.


Q:  What type of security does BWS have?

A:  BWS has implemented multiple security features and policies to help protect you:

Lighting – The parking lot is illuminated with powerful LED lights that turn on automatically so that you can see what is happening in your surroundings when it is dark.

Video Surveillance –BWS has two outside security cameras that cover the main entrance to the door as well as the parking lot beyond.  About 30 minutes before dusk and 30 minutes after dawn, the camera will notify chimes in the building that there is movement outside.  In addition, the camera will record the same detected movements.

Secured Coded Entrance – The doors to the property are always locked.  The front door will only open for members when they enter their assigned PIN in the front door key pad.  In addition, the video camera at the front door will record who is entering the building.

Fire Detection System – BWS is outfitted with an advanced fire detection system that is professionally monitored.  Each room has a heat sensor and flashing fire alarm.  Manual pull fire alarms are located in the upper and lower levels.  Should you suspect a fire, please vacate the building immediately and then call 911.  Tenants should congregate upwind in the parking lot as far away from the building as possible.  There is one fire extinguisher in the kitchen galley, one at the top of the stairs, and another in the front reception area.   Use the fire extinguisher if you feel you can contain the fire and only after you have called or designated someone to call 911.

Background Checks – For your security and the security of others, all tenants must pass a background check with regards to criminal activity.   Turnaround time for the background check is 48 hours.  The background check is done on-line directly between you and the company, First Advantage LNS Screening Solutions.  BWS is only given a flag for serious criminal offenses.   BWS reserves the right to terminate any membership at Will if a member fails a background check or violates our professional conduct policy.

BWS Professional Conduct Policy – Our conduct policy if very simple:

    • Do not disrupt the business affairs of other tenants.
    • Business casual attire is preferred. Jeans and sneakers are acceptable.
    • Your Business must not violate any local, state, or national laws.
    • Promptly document any service complaints, tenant disruptions, or improvement suggestions to management in writing to:

Q:  How do I print, copy or scan documents?

A:  A central copier is available for tenants as a convenience.  The copier/printer charge is $0.10 per page for black and white prints and $0.20 per page for color prints which is added to your invoice (daily invoice for Day Members, monthly invoice for Silver and Gold members).  Scans can be made from the copier and sent to an email address.  The scanning service is free.

Q:  Where do I get the software to utilize the on-site Canon Image Runner printer/copier/scanner?

A:  A link to Canon’s driver is here:  Generic_Plus_PS3_v1.21_Set-up_x64.exe.


Q:  How secure is the BWS computer network?

A:  The BWS network is both wired and wireless utilizing a Dell Sonic Wall that is up-to-date with the latest virus protection, anti-spam, and malware protection.

 This system provides a flexible, integrated security solution which includes Secure SD-WAN, high-speed 802.11 ac wireless, Power over Ethernet, and Network segmentation with VLANs.  The router allows BWS to manage up to 10 virtual ethernet networks which are reserved for Gold members.     Most members will utilize our wireless network which is shared with all other members.  We recommend when connecting to our network that you designate it as a “Public” network on your computer so that your computer and files will remain private and not be discoverable from other members.   Note that all wireless connections have access to the Canon Printer and Copier.  In case of power outages, The BWS network has a battery backup that is good for approximately 30-45 minutes depending upon how much activity and demand is being drawn from the system by users.   If you have a desktop computer, we recommend that you consider procuring a separate surge APS battery to keep it running during potential power outages.  Please note that local codes do not allow the use of extension cords in the building for office equipment.  However, multi-plug surge protectors that maybe combined with battery backup are allowed.  Therefore, if you need additional outlets for your suite, then make sure it is at least a multi-outlet surge protector.

Q:  How fast is the internet service?

A:  Because BWS is a member community, we share the internet services.

The Dell Sonic Wall controls the bandwidth and connection speed for each type of member.  We do limit the wireless access speed to avoid large video downloads that could slow our system down for other users and we make sure that no one person can utilize more than 10% of the available Comcast bandwidth at any one time.  All users should have enough speed and bandwidth to download normal business files, music files, software patches/updates, and make skype video calls, for example.  If you find your speed too slow for doing your business, please contact management.


Q:  Who is Four Seasons Business Services (FSBS) and how can they help me?

A:  Utilizing the services of FSBS is voluntary. Four Seasons is an on-site accounting firm owned by two partner CPAs, David Tougas, and Sarah Clark.  David Tougas is also an owner of Bremerton Work Space.  Dave & Sarah have a passion for helping small companies get established and succeed and the firm is there to help you get your business growing.  They provide business setup advice and, optionally, services to help you grow so that you don’t need a financial staff.  They can handle your revenue tracking, expenses, receivables, payables, and payroll/benefits.  A free hour of initial consultation is included for all Gold or Silver members.
